It was on the bike when I got it, I have no manual,  nor do I even know the manufacturer.  It worked for a while, but started failing when used heavily.  I can turn it on, but when I try and press the set button to maintain speed, the light goes out (it turns off).  Sometimes it will work for a while, then just shut off, which is dangerous as I am cruising along and the throttle suddenly snaps shut.

It's like an enablement condition suddenly isn't correct anymore and it shuts off.  I'd love to get a manual or a wiring diagram but knowing what brand it is is job #1.

That looks like the same control pad I have on my Audiovox CCS100 cruise control.

Do a search and you should find lots of info here about them.

99.999% certain it's an Audiovox CCS-100.  The Key pad is from the CCS-100.

Sounds like you have a loose wire.  Check out the purple wire connected from the cruise to your brake light.  If you loose the connection to the purple wire the cruise shuts off.

Got it, thanks!  Now I can debug it over the winter.  Raining and wind up yer ass here right now.

The control pad isn't water proof so that may be an issue.
