It has obviously been dropped and they want a new (not like new) bike price for it.  I was thinking about offering $9000.  Thoughts?  I figured that since new 2011's can be had for around 11,000 that since this bike has 2500 miles and about $1000 in damage that I would be in the ballpark for an actual value.  Am I out of line?  I like to get a bargain and I know that this is definitely the time of year to be shopping for a bike.  I can be patient and wait for the right bike to come along.............................................Preferably with a full AreaP and lots of other cool goodies.

I would not feel bad if they accepted a $9000 offer but I am fairly certain that they won't.  I guess I will see what happens.  I would like to have a 2011 but I refuse to finance a "toy".  So I do have limits on what I am allowed to spend.

I told my wife that if I didn't get another bike that I would be shopping for a Cadillac CTS-V.  Once she found out how much one of those cost then there wasn't to much arm twisting to convince her that a bike was a better deal.

Nope, she knows that the 2008 was the fastest color so she will probably want me to get a black C14 since they are in fact the slowest ones out there.

Between $9,000 and $10,000 sounds very good. Make sure the warranty is still valid. I didn't see too much for damage. Lower fairing, bolt off foot peg, bag cover, and the little plastic circle on the shaft drive is probably scraped. But very minor. Good luck!!
