The Datel meters have been the most popular for awhile now.  More water-resistant than most, very accurate and they look nice installed:

I most favor an old fashion analog (needle) type voltage gauge as they are the easiest to read for those of us with eyes that don't do well a close distance anymore and they most resemble the stock gauges. Look at www.electricalconnection.com I have the larger 2.5" gauge installed in the upper left hand corner of the cowling above the storage pocket/bin and if it did not say HONDA you would swear that it came straight from the factory built right in; if I had not already had a larger hole in the dash from a red LED gauge that drove me nutz as it was to hard to see without glasses on and flickered the last digit too much I would have selected the smaller of the two gauges as it would look spot on with the fuel and temp gauges.

I can tell you want NOT to get. Its called the "Battery Bug". *** useless. So far, its cost me $80 to replace a battery that wasn't bad, and its been digitally counting down how "bad" my battery is since installing the new battery last year. It will start beeping most likely next week in Vermont like it did last year in Wisconsin.

I got mine from Summit Auto Racing in Talmage Ohio.  Something like $32.00 shipped?

Is that a temperature gauge on the left?  If so, where's the pickup?

I think that's just a thermometer.

That's correct.  It's just an oil filled thermometer.  Works great though. ;D

I've seen similar one's available from Dennis Kirk, or other motorcycle retailers.

It's a "Formotion" series.  Picked it up at a local H-D Dealership.  Comes with a handle bar and flush surface mount hardware.

I have and am not a fan of the Kuryakyn LED voltmeter. I'm with the analog crowd, but did not find what I wanted before going with the Kuryakyn. I was trying to find an LCD gauge similar in style to the clock to mount on the opposite fairing panel, or a rectangular analog meter, no luck with either, at least not water proof. I most likely would have gone with what T Cro linked to if I had seen them. I could only find the larger, automotive non water proof ones.

+1 on the Datel. Totally waterproof, reliable, simple 2-wire hook-up. Not cheap, but worth the money IMO. I got the .01 volt resolution version, looks more symmetrical.

I too prefer the analog displays.   Easier to sweep the entire panel and get to know where the needles are supposed to be.   Of course, older eyes may play a part in that.

TCro thanks for the link to the voltmeter.  My dash is uncut, so I may go with the smaller guage.

George, thanks for the link, but as mentioned, I'm not into the digital.

Tele130, thanks for the info on the themometer.   I've been thinking about that as a option to add.
