When my bike is out of warranty this is probably what I will do.  Until 2014 I will just have to make due with seeing what you and Fretka can do with your crazy C14's.

Two big thumbs up!

I assume you are talking about the 9- second limit? If so, how close did you get to that number? And do you think the bike would really crack the 9 second barrier? If so, very, very impressive.

Oh, it went into the 9's. (info is in the video description... and the title of the post). I just couldn't make more passes -after- that... due to the fact that I do not have a competition license. If I had tried they would have kindly removed my number and told me to pound sand. :)

And I think it has a 9.89 in it as it is. That pass was 8psi, stock ride-height/wheelbase (no strap), 40psi tire pressure, the bags off, and the windshield down. Weather conditions were around 4500' altitude density. Weight was 880lbs w/me on it with the bags on (and empty). :) The bags lose me about 3mph on the big end.... maybe .05-.1 in et. Lowered and strapped I think it has a 9.59-9.65 in it....... if the clutch or basket doesn't grenade. I'm not wealthy enough to want to find out.  :D

...using the suction cup mount behind the tank. I can't tell ya'll how.... interesting it is having to stay mostly upright and out of the camera's way at that speed. :) The clip gives you a good idea how hard this monstrosity sweeps the speedo needle. :)

I told my wife that I could get the groceries home faster with turbo.........she still said no.   :'(

I would love to see some more video of head to head action on the strip vs some experienced riders.

...I would love to get some, but not a lot of bikes run at SIR (especially this time of year). Of the ones who do, I'd say 90%+ are pretty green as far as drag racing goes. The other 9% are on purpose build 8 and 9 second drag bikes. I will say, though, that the quickest I've ever gone at that track was 10.28 @142mph with my 06 zx10r (geared, slip-ons, and PC3 tuned). I did trap 148ish mph on the same bike with a 38hp shot of giggle juice (.035 jet made 188hp from a baseline of 150 on that bike), but I could never get it to go quicker than 10.28 on the stock suspension set-up (1.80 60'). I probably had 50 passes on that bike there.

The Concours 60'ed 1.74 on that run, and it had more in it for sure.... maybe a 1.69; that bike has maybe 6 passes total there. Puts it in pretty good perspective, eh? :)

............though videos of me just killing squidies on GRYZF-XX bikes IS pretty damn entertaining.

Very impressive.

Did you ever find a steering damper for the bike, and was that run made with or without a damper?
