Side Spoiler Set Concours 14 2010-2011??
« on: July 20, 2011, 11:08:57 AM »
Anyone actually seen these on a bike yet?  The US site has them for $146.95 :yikes: but can't seem to show a pic, but the European site shows it.
They also have the protective bag film, which the US does not.

Better picture here...

Word to the wise, if you want to know about potential accessories for this bike, go the UK site.  Kawasaki US sucks when it comes to this kind of thing.    And no, I don't have an opinion on this subject.

They remind me of the fairing extenders for the C10. Obviously these one are shaped for the C14.

Yep, Kawi US should be keel hauled....

I would consider selling my bike for that color.

That's a much better picture.  Wish they weren't clear but a dark smoke.

Anyone notice the other picture on that same page? looks like the fob is attached to the left handle bar somehow....

Looks like to me they might also direct air over the side vents, pushing the hot air downwards.

+1 and zero heat issues from idling to xxx MPH. Thats why i asked what purpose do they serve.

When it is cool the bike offers great wind protection. When it is hot the bike offers too much.

That might be how it is delivered from the factory to the dealer.  Or perhaps just a way to have it for show so people can't take it but the bike electronics can still be demoed.

Agreed.  I went from the ZRX, which was FREEZING ME TO DEATH in cool weather due to no wind protection to the Concours, where I am burning up much of the time from too much wind protection (when it is hot out).  It is great in the colder weather, though.
