Shoodabeen reflash-contacting Steve

Hello everyone,
I am hoping someone here can help me get in touch with Steve from Shoodabeen. After reading all the praises of his reflash skills I am eager to get my bike done.
So I've reached out twice in the past 2 weeks via the ways he indicates on his website but haven't heard back. I'm not sure if he is really busy, on a vacation or has stopped doing these.
If anyone could help me get in touch or tell me what's going on I would really appreciate it.

I know he was sick for a bit, but last I heard he was doing better. He gets a lot of stuff, so things can get lost in the noise. He's on Facebook as Steve Sefsick with a profile picture of Walter from Jeff Dunham. You might try him there.

I wanted to ask opinions on various reflashes available, specifically Shoodabeen vs Ivan's, but others as well.
I don't seem to be able to get ahold of Steve at Shoodabeen so he must be busy or his attention is elsewhere.
Went for a few canyon rides and really would like improved throttle control. Tired of the herby jerky response. Plus I should be getting my new exhaust any day now and would like the reflash done in time for the install.

I was horrified when I first got the C14.  I thought the throttle was an on/off switch- very difficult to have any control or finesse, especially in 1st/2nd gear.  NOTHING like the ZRX I had prior which was very controllable.  These were the pre-flash days, and I put in a Throttle Tamer replacement tube/lobe.  It helped a lot.  But Steve's flash can (and will) do the same thing (depending on which flash you get)- reduce the hyperness down low, without having to spend $$ on a Tamer or the time installing it.  Although the replacement Tamer tube is much smoother/nicer than stock.

Anyway, since I still have the Tamer installed WITH the flash, it is actually a bit TOO tame :)

Where oh where is Steve?

Actually, hope he is not sick or something and I am bugging him with emails.

Well, no hurry I guess. Just got the bike 8/6 after not being able to for 7 years and I'm loving being "back in the saddle" as they say.

My RC51 was the same. I added a Power Commander and a good map and that took care of it. With the C14, I have not done anything. It is still essentially stock since 2010. It's a 2009 I bought in 2010. I'm so used to it now I don't even notice it, though I know it is still snatchy. I have adapted.

I tried and couldn't adapt, maybe some people have better finesse than I do.  It was also my first fuel-injected bike (and also with the largest engine, ever).  For me, it became a safety issue, so I took action.  I don't know why they would have it set up in such a hostile way.  The only thing I could think of was to try and impress people with the power?  The C14 does have a lot of low-end power but if I want the power, I am perfectly willing to turn the throttle another several degrees so I don't wipe out with an accidental twitch :)

Yes Freddy. Tried both places that were indicated for contact on the website and also his Facebook page. Not sure what's up but I don't want to keep emailing with no response.
That's sort of why a little earlier I asked if others knew of good alternative reflashes from others.
So I'm stuck, for the moment.

Steve accessed the COG Forum yesterday. If you need to contact him, send him a message there (if you can).
It may also be worth contacting Michael Cox (who is on many of the Facebook Concours groups) as he is Shoodaben's European distributor.

Thanks Boomer, unfortunately I haven't paid to get on the COG forum so therefore cannot post. But geez, I sent messages on three other contact points and no replies. Not even "very busy. Get to you later" or something. So for some reason my messages aren't getting to him.
I hate to ask but could someone on this site, perhaps someone that knows Steve or how to get ahold of him,  send him a heads up that I would like to talk with him?

Can't speak to FB, never had a login, never will.  But I can speak to Email... I manage several domains, as well as have several personal addresses.  It seems lately that the fight against spam on some systems has stepped up so high that on some systems messages silently don't even go through.  No record of being blocked.  No message back to the sender, just nada.  That was happening on my Cox account and causing chaos.

As for possible mispellings, as long as that doesn't match a real user at a real domain, the sending user SHOULD get immediate feedback of a failed/bounced message.
