I can certainly sympathize with him about the (lack of) quality of the labor force. Worst I've had to deal with in the last 35 years.

Got another e-mail!

Hi Brent,

Your seat has been pulled and is on schedule to be completed within the original 3 week time frame. You will hear from Seth when your seat is on the bench.

Thanks,
Kaarin

Mine is still not 100% but it's way better. I suspect he would have reworked it so I am not knocking him for that.  It's not like he's a Fortune 500 company, so I was harsh in my statement.  I am sure he is doing the best he can.

My seat is now a cross country seat.  Before, I could barely get across town. Some love the stock seat and to that I say, good for them. The stock seat felt like a blowtorch had been applied to my ass after half an hour.

I'm a Baldwin (Loren Mock) fan myself, but to be fair to all the custom makers/modifiers, the more time they spend trying to talk to customers, the less time they have to work on seats. I think I saw that on Rick Mayers site a few years ago, but it might have been someone else. Not sure what happened to him, but I remember a lot of people complaining about his bedside manner... customer service.

The best way to speed up a custom seat order is

...study the options thoroughly on the websites and research forum threads and reviews
...clearly state what you want in your order
...send your seat in right at your production date
...don't change your mind after you've submitted your order and mailed your seat.

So my seat just arrived at my office, but I'm not in my office today.
However Seth's helper sent pictures.

There are four of them, but I'm concerned.
Do these two pictures look like the same seat to you?
Keep in mind this is supposed to be a dual seat.
I've already replied to his e-mail asking which one is an actual picture of my seat.

Whoa I was worried.
He responded already and sent the right pictures.
Here is the proper picture.

I have a tiny butt with no fat, all of the fat is in my gut.
So yes, it does.

So far only my 40 mile commute each way and I love it.
Just love the pocket at the perfect arms length.
We have a longer ride coming in a few weeks.
