Some of my fondest memories as a kid was sleeping out with my friend in his tree fort in NJ and listening to Jean Shepherd on WOR NY. When Christmas Story movie came out, it was like going back in time for me.

glad you like...and of course I had to relate it to a Conni picture... I used that shot in the NE Ohio Tag O Rama for ADV riders a year ago.
the house is in a very old neighborhood in Cleveland, by the steel mill and factories..

its open for tours, and they have a gift shop across the street in a converted house... you can buy the lamps, Flick's hat, soap, and even a Red Rider....
you can even bid on spending Christmas eve in the house overnight, and do a recreation of the movie with your kids... money goes to charity.
some things are still cool, even in Cleveland..
