St. Nick dropped off my birthday present on the 6th today.

A nice Givi 46 topcase for my Kawi C-10.  A nice mounting kit completed the deal.

Thanks, Santa!

Got the E128 GIVI mounting kit on the bike last week.  Used the nice weather(40 F) today to see how well the 46L trunk fits on it.  Might put some invisible reflective tape on the bottom of the trunk.  You can see the tape shining off the sidebags when the flash hits it.

(A GIVI E65 backrest pad is now on the trunk too.)

Pulled the carbs this week and sent them to SISF for some "Tweeking". Finished cutting and welding up the new 4 into 1 exhaust system. As soon as the carbs and pipe are back on it will be change the fork oil time. After that greasing the rear drive splines and maybe a manual cam chain tensioner install. When thats done its riding time !!!

WX is unusually warm for this time of year, 55F, lotsa sunshine. Rolled the Connie out of the garage and washed off all the crud that it collected on the rainy New Year Day ride.

Dragged my "winterized" bike out of the corner and went for a solo ride up to High Point, NJ and met some like-minded fellows.

Busy weekend so far.
Adjusted the valves, put on new brake pads front and rear, tightened head bearings, did the 4" stock spring cut off mod.
Will add Snarfs block off plates before putting the plastic back on.

I had a busy weekend as well. I adjusted the valves changed the spark plugs.I got my wheels back from the powder coaters and replaced the bearings. Installed new tires and brakes.I changed all fluids except fork oil. Relocated the coolant over flow.I removed all plastic and sanded it down and primered it with epoxy. Thank goodness it was a three day weekend. Next weekend I'll paint let it cure for a week and then hopefully get everything back together the week after that. Now I just have to decide on which windshield I want and go ahead and order it.

I have fresh metal showing on the bottom of my right foot peg from the ride home today.

Despite living in FLA, I have a nice 12 mile country road commute, it has like real corners that aren't intersections.

Parked in Motorcycle Parking at work.  Eight nice empty spots waiting to be filled up.

Used the new Givi to hold the helmet instead of using the helmet locks.  Much nicer and faster to get de-geared before heading into the building.

Looking at nice warm ride home not wearing the three layers I used on the way in to work. :)

Swapped out the NEW K+L float needle in the #4 carb with the old OEM one from the #1 carb and got her running right for the first good ride this year.

First ride was 2 days ago.

Well, technically, it was two days ago, but I fired her up for the first time since last Fall.
Took a bit of coaxing, but she warmed up and ran great!
Say what?
