Looks like an add on switch for ?????    Has the bike got aux lighting or heated grips? You might  have to follow the wiring back to find out. Good hunting.

It is something aftermarket that was added to the bike. Looks like it may be a large, weatherproof toggle switch but really, you are going to have to track down where the wires go and what they do to know what you have there.

And if ever there was a thread that needed a big 'ole EASY BOYS!, this is surely the one....

A bit, yes.

Too add value to my posts, like stated above, probably an aftermarket switch for some accessory circuit. Flick it on and see what happens. What's the worst that could happen?

He found a nipple he knows nothing about it. You suggest he flick it and turn it on to see what happens. Youse guize are killing me.... KILLING ME!

Oh, the huge manatees!

My own suggestion would be to proceed with extreme caution.... I have done what this gentleman suggests and ended up having to pick out names and get them S.S. numbers....

And then there is this jewel:  One day, two neighbors in S. Dakota meet at the fence between their farms and chat a bit. Their names are Sven and Thor.

Thor: 'Anything new Sven?'
Sven: 'Yeah, I gots me a new cow.' Funny ting dough 'bout dat cow, whenever you first touch her teat, she farts.'
Thor: 'Hmmmm, anything wrong wit da cow?'
Sven: 'Nope- good cow, gives good milk and seem perfectly healty. Just the odd ting bout touching her teat and getting the fart.'
Thor: 'Wait a minute, did you maybe buy dis cow in NOR Dakota?'
Sven: 'Yeah- hey Thor, how you know dat?'
Thor: 'Oh, my wife is from NOR Dakota.....'.

That is how I try to add value to my posts.....

I know its June, but from what I can see in that picture, it looks like it might be pretty cold in his garage.

Wouldn't that be 'anti-climax'?
