I controled the time i let my son play his video games, i do the same with my grandson.
But I have to tell you, if my son would have reacted anywhere near that way, i would have enacted the rule that i showed him one night when he raise a hand to his mom.
I only hit him once, but I placed my knee on his throat and looking down at this 16 yr. old, his eyes so wide i thought they would pop out, I told in a calm voice:
I brought you into this world, I will also take you out if you ever give a reason bad enough, and raising your hand t your mother is getting very close. How i didn't break his neck, i still don't know, I atribute the fact that he was in football shape when this happened.
I hope none of you ever get to that point, it was very scarry for both of us. He is now 26, and every now and then we discuss this, and now we smile.
That kid needs meds very badly, he is an accident waiting to happen, God forgive when he drives.
