Live info feed for Camera
« on: February 14, 2015, 10:46:57 PM »
Hey guys I wanna start video taping my rides like I was doing before but my helmet isn't really an option for camera mounting anymore. This means that you can no longer read my gauges AND see the road at the same time. I would like to install a program that will send live bike info (speed and rpms kinda stuff) to a little PIP in the video. I don't mind if I have to pair the info after the ride just as long as I have something to record the info and put it into the videos. I think this will look better and make a much more enjoyable video. Thoughts and suggestions welcome! Just wondering if anybody knew of such software programming stuffs.

I have a Garmin Virb Pro/Deluxe/Elite/whatever, but haven't put it on my scooter just yet. Have used it in a plane a couple of times.

It (the Virb deluxe/pro/elite/whatever only) logs GPS data (speed, direction, altitude), and will display that info in a vid if you choose to show it in the upload.
