Love mine.

Quality and taste depend on the brand, but find a one you like and it makes a damn good cup of coffee.

Here in Italy the recycling program is robust; plastic, metal, glass, paper and organic material all get picked up. I recycle or reuse the cup, foil lid and grounds...only waste is the little bit of paper filter.

I'm sure someone will be along shortly to tell me I'm wrong.  ;D

Of the 5 we gave as Christmas gifts - they're ALL on the recall list.  I think this entire model has be recalled, the serial number doesn't seem to matter.  It only acts up when you use it continually like at a party or dinner when many people want coffee, not just the occasional daily use - or so it seems.

We got one from my SIL for Christmas.  We Still make a pot when I am home, but it will be nice for my wife when I am on the road.  Need to check and see if it is on the recall list.  It does make a steaming hot cup of Joe.

Just the machines though, right? I mean, they don't want all the coffee that they produced back, right....?

(Now I have a mental image of millions and millions of plastic containers full of a frothy, warm, yellow liquid being shipped to Keurig....)
