Ok, I am going to try to be helpful instead of a twit this time.
Apps I use the most besides email, text and camera:
Google maps (obvious)
Brightest Flashlight (amazing how handy that is, I always have a flashlight in my pocket now)
UPM (stores all my account and password info in an encrypted vault, only have to remember one password)
ColorNote (when you don't have a pen and paper, use keyboard or voice to make a note)
OI Shopping (shopping list, again voice or keyboard when I find I need something. Week later I am in Home Depot and check it)
Chromcast (Along with $35 dongle, displays youtube, Netflix, HBO Go on your big screen)
Youtube (obvious)
Netflix (I don't watch live TV at all anymore, no commercials)
HBO GO (my daughter lets me use her HBO login)
MyFlightbook (log book for pilots)
United Airlines (check flight status etc.)
Google Sky (find or identify any object in the night sky, Conrad should like this, must have if you use a dobson telescope)
Don't discount the use of texting. I'm currently working and living in TX but my entire extended family is still in Colorado. I get pictures of the grand kids and messages everyday. I'll get a text and or a picture from my regular Saturday morning riding buddies. Makes me feel like I'm still part of the group. I'll send simple message like "miss you" or picture of something funny or interesting to my wife, kids and grand kids several times a day. The kind of stuff you wouldn't want to make a call about but it keeps me connected at a very close and personal level. Just saying.
