That is surprising. I assume they mean a LOWER first gear ratio?

Well, the first part we already had. I like the vent CONCEPT but man is it UGLY. Easily transplantable.

How is that new? It was added on 2nd gen...

Finally. Not that it bothered me, but many complained. And it is just a simple FIRMWARE change that costs nothing. And there is no reason it shouldn't be transplantable to the earlier years... just depends on which computer is doing it and how it can be programmed.
- Silver bezels on instrumentation
Yuck.
Missing from that list:
- Changed error/warning lamp on dash from red to yellow (supposedly)
- Darker tinted fluid reservoirs on handlebars
