A little bit warm today
« on: July 24, 2014, 06:40:33 PM »
This pic was taken after I pulled in my garage.  The first stoplight off the freeway it was reading 117.   Time for a beer.

I took a nice long ride yesterday. Crystal clear, 63 degrees with 40% humidity. Beautiful!

I've had it easy so far this year.   Last year was stuck in the lincoln tunnel at 110 degrees.

Wow! That is hot.

I don't think I've ever seen my temperature gauge that high.

Actually 80 is pretty comfortable here.  No matter what the temp I don't ever ride without a jacket. Without a jacket your sweat evaporates before it does any good.     Only about 3.5 months of this and then  :banana     Not very many bugs at this temp either.

Its been a relatively cool Summer here in Austin so far (sound of knocking on wood). Been mostly low 70's on the way to work at 7am and low 90's on the way home. But if parked outside in the sun I always have to cover the LCD or it will be completely washed out until it cools off again.
