I'm looking at getting a vstream for my 2013, but would like it tinted.  Company doesn't do that, so I was wondering if anyone on the board has had it done by a third party.  If you did, did you do tint film, or something else?

I haven't tinted my V-Stream yet, but it's on my list to do. I cut down my factory shield for summer riding and tinted it with the tail light spray tint. That's the plan for the V-Stream. Also from what I've read, the film tint doesn't work too good.

I used this product: http://www.vhtpaint.com/products/niteshades/

One guy on here painted his gloss black for the look, but it was not clear by any means.

I wanted to do the same,  but the outgassing of the plastic screws up the view, must buy a tinted shield.
