rear brake problem

Suddenly the brake pedal reminds blocked. (pedal  cover installed-recall) The wheel does not stop completely and thereby I am forced to start pressing the pedal repeatedly until it unblocks. In some cases that doesn’t occur so I have to wait a while in order to try it again.
Any idea ?

Are you saying the brake itself locks up, braking when you don't want it to brake? Or are you saying that you have to step on the pedal repeatedly to get it to brake?

Correct , what I am saying is that I have to step on the pedal repeatedly to get it to break cause some times It just frozen and it can not be moved.

Maybe they didn't install the new clevis pin/yoke correctly when they did the recall. I would take it back to the dealer that did the work and have them check it and do it correctly if that is the cause.

Look to see if there is a small pebble interfering with the movement of the brake pedal or linkage. Had that happen to me. Removed the pebble, and all was well.

It might be the rear master cylinder itself.  We've heard of that messing up and causing similar problems but also causing the rear brake to remain engaged and causing the rotor to overheat.

You folks do know that there were 2 recalls on the rear brakes...they recalled the first recall to retrfit different parts again.... because the first fix didn't work, and a pebble could still lock the brake lever ... mine got toasted prior to the first recall, complete meltdown, caliper, pads and rotor all replaced undr warrantee..... after the retrofit I took a hanfull of gravel, an tossed down in the abyss over the new parts, hit the lever a couple times and it wedged up.....
Had to actually remove the assembly to get the offending pebble out and unwedge the lever.... at least with the original assembly you could slam the lever down and slide your foot off a couple times and the pebble would pop out.
The problem was, if it wedged when you hit the brake, and you took off without hitting the brake again for 3 or5 miles, the bike would start slowing down even under thrttle.... too late by that time... the rotor was glowing red by then.

I only got one recall notice on my 2010.

the 2010 model came with the original retrofit installed, your recall removes that and replaces it with a different rod setup.
 

or maybe not, seems the recall goes thru to 2012 models...weird, I had my second one done in 2012 iirc.

When I bought my 08 used from a Kawi dealer, they showed me on the computer that a recall was done, not two recalls.  Only thing I find is that the rear brake is rather wooden feeling and unless it is stomped on, does very little to slow the bike, where as the fronts are fantastic!!   tp

that's the normal feel of the rear.
there were more recalls on the 08:

1) replace rear luggage rack
2) replace latch mechanisms on saddle bags
3) replace adjuster knobs for headlights
4) retrofit rear brake linkage with pebble guard
5) replace prior retrofitted rear brake linkage & stone guard with new rod and clevis
