Kawi green wheels on a C14?

So I scored another set of C14 wheels today... Thanks Gumby!  :chugbeer:









I'm thinking have them powder coated in Kawi green to run with my black bodywork, what do you guys/gals think??  :-\


Don't focus on the bodywork in the below pics, but just look at the wheels, this is the color I'm thinking to run with all black bodywork...

Just make sure you clean the mold lines.  Kawi Green deserves better than slow black!! ;)

That green against the black- think it might be too much contrast.  I think I'd rather choose a color a little more subtle to complement the bike, not overwhelm it.  The gold you already have would look good on the black bike.  I'm afraid people might say, "Holy crap!" and not in a good way upon seeing that green and the black bike.  I could be wrong but if it were mine I'd be looking for a different color.

Sorry J, I don't like the green for the wheels myself.

Who's 14 is that in the pics? They did all that work and left the stock can?    :o

He's on the Japan GTR forum C, I thought the same thing, maybe it's some sort of emissions thing??  ??? :-\

Well got the bearings pulled from the wheels this morning and just got home from dropping the wheels off at the powder coater.  :thumbs:
