You will need brackets to adapt them to bolt to your fork legs. I don't know of anyone making them at the present time.

I make them for pre 94, but I assume from your name that yours is newer. You can see what I did here http://s1337.photobucket.com/user/bpsnow1/library/C10%20BrakeUpgrade%20bracket

I would recommend going with 4 pots vs 6 pots. You will get a better fit to the rotors. I assume you are also intending to upgrade the rotors to 320mm?

If you can wait till I get my radial caliper project finished I will have my 4 pots and brackets for sale. They will work with your stock rotors.

I did this and the brakes are GREAT! http://forum.cog-online.org/index.php/topic,45657.msg296339.html#msg296339

Gitbox, I have a set of Nissin calipers on the way to do this mod; did you use the adapters for the DL650?  Any other tricks besides the needed spacer?

Throb,

I do not know if the Nissin calipers will work with the DL650 adapters, as I had the Tokico calipers off a 2003 GSXR 750.

Everything in my case was bolt up, except for the spacers I made, though it would have worked just fine using six washers. The Tokico's pads actually cover the whole rotor pad area - more than the stock pads on the stock calipers. The centering and clearances are just right.

This mod is next to the best I've done on this C10. My front brakes are vastly improved.

Weren't the DL calipers proven to be no better than the present 2 piston calipers on the ZG1000 ???

Tcro, all I can say is my front brakes feel just about the same as a new FJR I test drove. If the bike wasn't so heavy, I might be able to do a two finger stoppie.

I'm not sure about DL calipers, I just used the DL650 adapter brackets made by SV Racing. The change from 2 piston to 4 piston and HH pads even with stock rotors is night and day.

Of course, as always, YMMV.

My mistake y'all are just using DL650 brackets and 4-pot calipers.....

My bad Gitbox...I was going on the link to the COG forum you posted.  Following that, SVRacing gives certain year Tokico and Nissin calipers that will (should) work. I have Nissins from an '03-'04 CBR 600 on the way.   Reading other posts and reviews, people seem to think Nissin calipers are better engineered and offer better braking than the Tokico's.  I guess I'll take a chance to find out, although I have nothing to compare it to except the stock Connie brakes.  The only question I really had was which adapters you used, DL 650 or DL 1000's and if there is a difference?

Throb, I used these: DL650 Brake Caliper Adapter Brackets

You'd have to contact SV Racing about the differences.
