Could post 94 springs be installed in a pre 94 bike?
If so, I assume spacers could be used to adjust load?
would this be an improvement.
Bill, the fork tubes could be welded, but it might cause other problems.
I think finding O rings is the best solution.
(Before you install the O-rings), If "you" want to do away with the crossover tube, cut it and weld it...
It sounds like we're suggesting more than you initially asked. You just want to seal the leak and keep riding.
Easiest fix is,,, get some new O-rings.
Someone will work out the size soon, or you could remove yours and have them sized...
The new O-rings (from an O-ring supplier) should cost only a couple of bucks,,, err Pounds...
