Makes little to no difference, use whatever is on sale or tastes the best.

I don't know why you would even change the oil in that engine as it's constantly being changed automatically.  Filter yes, oil no.  ;)
 
   

I tried that once on one of my slants. The #5 rod bearing disagreed.
What did I learn?

I use straight up Dino in my Toyota's and a synthetic blend in the Focus. I change the oil every 3000 miles and have never had an oil related problem. Been doing the same thing for years with no problems.

I believe their car oils are good, just not a fan of the motorcycle specific blend. One of the most popular oils for Subaru owners is the Rotella T6, I top mine off with that and also use it in both of my bikes.
