I still love my Connie I don't care what you guys say nanu nanu. and I wouldn't trade it for two beemers

I love mine too.  And i know its a bargain buy and works good for the price. My suspension severely lacking and there are bare-bones options and limited high tech electronics.

But the forum always beats up the beemer with "I could buy a few Camaro's plus maintenance for the price of 1 911 Porsche". Living on that analogy means at the end of the day I'll still be driving a  :censored: ing chevrolet around

and Max that not about your thread above at all my friend, but all the threads and the COG forum too  :D

I like the BMW's and think they are great machines.  Just way more expensive than they should/need to be  :)

Up on the USA site too.  Disappointing - no reason to upgrade...

Well then I guess I'll just hang onto my C10!  8)

I traded my BMW in on the concours, and i'll never own another. It's not the cost of buying one that will kill you its the cost of maintaining one.

Here is a better wording-    "The cost of buying one will kill you.  The cost of maintaining it will then bury you."

I guess seeing as I own an 01 Kaw KLR 650 I'm already astonished that they upgraded the C14 once already to a small but needed degree. Kawasaki is not known for updating bikes very often. And I personally hate what they did with the body work on the new KLR. I have only had my C-14 a very short time but I LOVE it.

If you say something enough times on an internet forum it must be true.   :o
