2000 Concours with 21xxx miles in the Panhandle of Texas
« on: June 25, 2013, 11:07:23 AM »
I never thought I would be put in a position to part with this bike, but life changes at a rapid pace. A close friend of the family is about to pass from cancer, and his wife has asked me to purchase/have first dibs on his vast gun collection. She has to sell them to help with 2+ years of medical expense's.  I cannot pass on the deal as some of the guns have sentimental value so the only way to raise enough money is to sell some of my toys.

This is my 2000 C10 that is my pride and joy even though I've only owned her a short time. She has just over 21,000 miles but it goes up as I commute every day 60 miles round trip on her. I'm the third owner, and the bike has been garaged all it's life. I do not have the manual/records from 0 to 17,000 miles as the second owner didn't receive them, who I bought the bike from. Non the less the bike is in very good shape with only minor wear from boots, clothing on the side panels, a small L shaped cut on the seat caused by a tie down cinched across it while being trailered, it can be covered with a quarter. I do remember one of the front turn signals having a small crack but it was so superficial I didn't mess with replacing it.

The bike is mostly stock. It has a Rifle windshield (stock included), Corbin seat, Givi Monokey top box with back rest, Cruise control (un-installed vacuum canister, so not working), J&M radio system (works, but I don't have the headsets), has 1-3/4" bar risers (currently not installed, but included), and lowered foot pegs. There may be more but I can't remember off the top of my head.

Bike runs excellent and gets 38 mpg at 75mph and 44mpg at 65mph. It could stand to have the carbs synched to get a little better mpg. Front tire is new and has about 3K on it, rear at about 50-60%.

Once again I really hate to sell my bike. I looked high and low to find one in my part of Texas (Childress) and now that I have it I have to part with it. Cancer sucks! I was originally going to post it for $3,600 OBO but have decided to put it up for $3,000 FIRM for a quick sale. I could get more for it I think but I just need the money quick. Cash only no trades. Text or call 325-668-9572.

These cell phone pics do it no justice, bike is clean and has very, very few scratches where your boots hit the side panels. Paint is mostly flawless. I can text better pics.
