Found this doing a google search. I guess it is on here somewhere. Is it accurate and is there a closer (higher) automotive temp range?

Autozone carries the Wells and it is $23 plus tax. They will get one in 4 hours. Napa was $49 and in stock. Oreilly carries Borg W $23 and a few days to order Car Quest carries Wells and was $20 economy or $40 premium, a few days order Advance carries Borg W $29, a few days order
The Autozone unit is about 1/8 to 1/16 longer from the o-ring to the end. Screwed it in by hand until the o-ring seated and tightened up with a wrench, carefully. Seems to fit ok.
This site rocks! Or should I say, the posters on this site Rock! Where else can you go ask for alternative replacement options for an esoteric part and get information like this.
I think I'll be able to keep my Connie going forever with this kind of information. Thanks guys.
BTW - I believe I like the lower kick on temps for fan. I was worried it may run too long when the bike is shut off, and maybe it does, but the fan run time diff is not noticeable.
Find out how it works for sure tomorrow. The temp is supposed to be around 98 here.
