My riding buddies have decided to go with the Sena SMH10 setup, which leaves me with this Starcom Digital unit that I no longer use. The system worked great for me and my (ex)girlfriend for the last year and a half... Speech was easily understandable up to about 85mph using quiet-ish HJC full face helmets with chin curtains, and the digital allowed for us to both listen to our own iPods separately. Using VOX activation the system would automatically decrease music volume when one or the other started talking, and automatically increase in volume as speed increased. And on top of that, it is hard-wired to the power on the bike, so no need to worry about batteries to recharge... just plug in the helmets and go! There's a lot of nifty features that the Starcom Digital system included that really made it a great comms tool.
The kit I am selling includes the following: The Starcom1 Digital unit 1 PP-24 full face headset w/speakers & 3.5mm jack for earbuds 1 SH-004 full face headset w/speakers only 1 SH-006 open face headset w/speakers & boom mic (p.o. said only one of the speakers worked... I never used this headset so I'm not sure if it works properly) 2 HSEX-01 coiled extension leads 1 VOL-02 Handlebar Volume control
Errrrrr, no. Todays is our 31st anniversary, could be a good (or bad) time to ask. Sorry I just spaced it out. I want it, but does she? I'll let you know soon.
