Another one of mine.. sadly pre-Concours

Approach to the Stelvio, going North from Italy.... this road had just been re-surfaced for a cycle event.. and was smooth as a smooth thing   8)

A bit further along.. trying to be artistic  This is looking South towards Italy

The last photo shows where my bike had a 'little rest' on its side on a previous post  ( posted again to save you looking   ;D)  It was on the area of gravel just to the left of the mirror

At the top heading North.. Alps in the distance  ( remember the excellent film  'The Italian Job'   This is where the bus is teetering on the edge  :o)

I have a new goal, find that sign and ride for two hours  ;D

And you'd get halfway through, unless your name is Rossi or someone like him. I rode it, big fun!

:rotflmao: That's funny right there. Never knew a "pass" could be as low as 47'. Now I have to wonder, what is the lowest pass in the world?

At the top of the Hawk's Nest in Orange Co. NY. My  Connie is the one behind my brothers Green Vaquero. It was a nice day. If you're ever in the area take the ride to the bottom, and grab a hot dog from Frank's Texas Weeniers Hot Dog Stand.

Love that green Vaquero.  Could bring myself to buy it though.  Too close to the Voyager and I need the passenger comfort for the mrs.

At Tioga Pass. Eastern entrance to Yosemite. 9943 ft. The booth in the back is the summit. I know, my headlight is out! Fixed it.

Green is my brothers favorite color. He couldn't pass it up. He did, however, convert his saddle to a two up saddle with a quick release back rest and top case shelf for the MRS. Actually when he's fully dressed it looks like a Voyager (only really green). he enjoys taking off the accessories and going solo which was the way the Vaquero was intended to be ridden.
