What fits a 017BRU-0025 genuine Kawasaki GPS mount..

I ordered the genuine http://www.kawasaki.ca/accessories/37/Concours-14-ABS/7/Electrical-Accessories Kawasaki GPS mount braket for my C14, but just realised fitting my Garmin Nuvi 50LM will not be simple, I found the Ram mount for the garmin but holes doesn't seems to be at right place. I can't find wich gps will fit this plates, even if kawa claim it fits "most" unit. So how should i fit my gps to it? Should i get another gps? Should i get rid of the plate right away? Your advice would be greatly appreciated!

Not sure how the 50LM differs from my 3450LM but I use this:



Absolutely rock solid. The Garmin cannot accidently come out. My Horizon ST bars have a screw on ram ball mount and it attaches to that.

Thanks Rhino! Does the foot mount on the 017BRU-0025 plate or does it mount directly between the handle? I don't see where i would mount it!?

I really like the ram ball system because it allows you to change location and angle very easy as well as removing the system without tools.

Sorry I didn't see this post. Yes I would think you would be able to mount the ball at the foot to your plate then use the rest of the ram ball system.

My bars came with a threaded hole for this:



But I would think this would mount to your plate:



And that comes with the unit on ebay. Lots of holes at different spacing for many options.

Now i get it! I find this image on Amazon, showing all the places you can fit a ram ball on the C14



So i will cancel the useless ugly 017BRU-0025 plate and order the proper ram ball ram arm and ram back plate system. I will mount it on my right handle so it will be in my line of view. So thanks for putting me on the right balls!
