My guess is from the below statement in the listing...
Payment to be made by check or cash. PC-V will be shipped after check clears the bank.
Sounds kinda harsh, why not just take the $ via paypal and both seller and buyer are covered, the option you list makes it seem you don't trust the buyer...
Again, just my guess on Chet's comment, but I'm drinking beers, so I'm not really bright right now... I better get back on ebay.

This is one of those forums where I will ship as payment is sent. In fact its the only forum I will do that on. So in other words, have had at least two instances where I shipped an item, someone decided to buy. When the item was recieved, in good shape and was what they were looking for, they sent the payment. I'm not saying it won't bite me in the ass someday, but I have a lot of faith in this community.
