I worked on some of their product in the mid-80s that went into the Trident sub. I didn't receive any awards either. But those fighter pilots deserved it though. Heck, all of them deserve it. Even those in the Navy.... Well, especially the Navy/Marines. Takes a lot of skill to take off and land on a moving runway.
I worked on the hawk and icwar electronic boards doing flux soldering. then I went to the maintenance dept. this was in 1977-78. It's a wonder that anything they have even works; I swear EVERYONE that worked there was stoned / high / drunk. Every boss, every worker. I used to go up on the roof and "burn" my breaks. Most everyone went to the parking lot for a "liquid lunch". I even was road racing my firebird on the perimeter road and crashed into the fence at about 80 mph when I slid off a curve. Oops! Told my boss, and really nothing ever came of it. weird times. Steve
