What's "rain" :o???

Come to the East side of the country and you will find out what rain is.   ;D

LOL...my point exactly! You know, you guys over there could send some of what you're getting over here. We're getting "rain" right now and it's in the form of a very fine mist...so in our world, it's pouring!

Moby Dick's on the Santa Barbara Pier. Food is just "okay" but the area is a pretty amazing experience! The ride getting there is great...around Lake Casitias and over Hwy 150 then the 101 North to Santa Barbara. The ride home was at night along the coast with the full moon reflecting off the water and temps around 70 degrees...perfect!

Nice pics!

Ivanhoe's in Upland Indiana. Pretty good tenderloin grilled or fried, Fruit salad is huge and The Ice cream is killer. http://www.ivanhoes.info/ Worth the trip off I 69 to eat if you are passing through Indiana.

Hey, a friendly suggestion: never leave your helmet on a seat, tank, etc. I learned the hard way that even on a perfectly calm day, a wind gust can sneak up on you, and knock the sucker down >:(; $700 down the drain. Now it goes to the ground, or on top of a fuel pump if protected from falling. Better a little dirty than ruined ::).

This is in Pig Pine CA, with a fellow Connie rider that I had met the night before in Bishop CA. He took me to this restaurant, and I had the BEST breakfast burrito ever! He then shared his local knowledge of the roads and showed me around. Great guy. Thanks Jerry!

Took a Friday morning ride up over Hwy 33 (Maricopa Hwy), to the 166, to Tepusquet Rd, to Foxen Cyn/Zaca Station Rd past the "Fess Parker Winery and the "Firestone Winery", to the 154 and over to Solvang for some really good Waffles at "The Belgian Cafe".

Guys and girls, you want to see some great roads to ride go to Google Maps and follow Hwy 33 (Maricopa Hwy) out of Meiners Oaks and then again find and follow Tepusquet Rd and then to Foxen Cyn to the 154 ... awesome roads to ride! Think pine trees, beautiful rock formations, deer and more twisties than you could ever hope for ... especially Tepusquet Rd, that one is so much fun to ride! Here are some pics;

Looking back at Hwy 33 before dropping into the cold part of the ride. Temperatures after these first pics on Hwy 33 dipped down to 18 degrees!

Half way across the 33

On Tepusquet Rd

Fess Parker Winery. What you don't get in the pic is the smells there ... AMAZING!

Did this on Sunday. Texas Burger in Needville, TX.  I drop by there at least twice a month to enjoy their food.
If you live SW of Houston, Texas Burger has great food... The Chicken Fried Steak dinner is great too, as well as the double Cheeseburger I had.

Went here when I had the 08.  Decided to go here with the new bike today.  In Sealy, TX, of I10 and State Hiway 36.   Chicken Fried Steak, and Mashed Potatoes.  Good food, but better bring cash, as that's all they accept.

I know it's not a restaurant, but a fine bakery is worth mentioning.  Everything from donuts and pastries to wedding cakes.
