Been a while since any of us has gone to a non chain eatery.   Today was my day off and bug guy at the house day, so I went riding around with the only destination was lunch at this place.  Tony's Family Restaurant, in Sealy, TX.  Just good country meals, breakfast to dinner.  If you  are ever on I10 going to or from Houston, stop in Sealy and grab a bite.

My bike couldn't be in the picture with the sign, as you can see why.  Looks like you can get your hair styled while there, too.. ;D

Lunch crowd.  The lot was packed, and I look silly enough without trying.  The LEO's I sat by would have probably hauled me off had I tried that.  Perhaps next time.... ;D ;D   :banana  The banana is in honor of Jim, who seems to love it.

Overdue post from trip to TX.

Leakey, TX

3 tasty chicken tacos under the salad! Cover it with salsa and go.
Chips were good too.
Belly full, time to check out the Sisters!

Sounds as if you liked it.    Hate to recommend a place if it wasn't good for you.  Sisters are fun, in that you have to remain aware, but not be fretting the next curve, to enjoy.  Hope you did enjoy the ride...

Wish I still had the XR1200.  That would be just about the perfect mount for the Sisters.   tomp

Then there was this in Bastrop, TX across the highway from the park entrance.

Delicious breakfast tacos!

I hate to stop so these are the only results following a 2,000+ mile trip.   ::)

Forgot this. Also in Bastrop, TX near the park entrance.

A monster breakfast burrito that was also lunch at the track that day.   ;)

The best pies I ever had were baked by my Mama.  Never gonna taste them again.  Here in Houston, we have The House Of Pies.  Good but expensive.

Took a ride south of the Twin Cities and made a stop at Emily's Bakery & Deli in Hastings for some lemon meringue pie and a Coke.  Always good sweets there.  Gave me the energy to continue the ride home...

Anyone in the Austin, TX area that has time, Lukenbach has great pulled pork, topped with cold slaw.  Fries are a whole potato, spiral cut, and cooked as one piece.   Not much to see there, but the roads are great, and normally lots of riders, especially on weekends.  tp

Yessir. . .He and Waylon do it justice....  My uncle worked with Willie in the 50's.  Actually Willie worked with my uncle, as he was the bigger dog back then.  Been into him since the late 60's.  Too cool a musician, for sure.  tp
