Other than maybe a bit more adjustability and some more leverage, why change out the factory items? Just curious as mine work fine for me.

I got some and the hole where the pin goes into was too small and it made the clutch slip. That was two months ago and I am too lazy to bore the hole out bigger.
Make sure yours is ok, it looks fine until you do a WOT, then you will know
Hopefully yours is ok
I have them too, and am also very happy with them. Exactly the same as a pair of ridiculously priced Pazzos I had on a VStrom.
That's strange. The only thing I had to do was grease the screw head bolt body and transfer the brass barrel from the stock clutch lever (the pin from the Resivior fits in it) and tighten the nut on the lower side. 10 min tops.
Any preference between shorty nad standard size??
The listing is for the late model connie, does anybody know if they will fit the early bikes? I have an 86 that's not adjustable and I have relatively short fingers, so being able to adjusdt them closer to the bar would be a big help for me.
Thanks
Rob
Yes they are interchangable between all years; many early model bikes would get their levers changed out for later models so that they could have adjustable levers.Thank you Mr. Stick and Shifter man!
If you don't mind using 2 fingers then the shorty work great. I had shorties on my sport bike, but got the regular for the C14. Some people prefer the shorty for brake and long for clutch
I've had my levers for a couple weeks now and like them alot more than stock. I got the black with red adjusters for my 02.I got the same colors and they arrived last week. Kinda fun because I forgot I had ordered them it was so long ago. I guess I am getting old enough now to wrap my own xmas gifts and still be surprised when I open them.
