 Some time back I put out an inquiry to see if there was an American made tire gauge, I was led to believe these were and purchased two. However they are made in China and carry a 5 year warranty including the battery. Mine failed within 6 months so I fired off an angry complaint to Measurement LTD, Inc. the manufacturer. I received a very quick response with a promise to replace the defective gauge plus a supply of batteries. I received them quickly and a new battery fixed the dead gauge. While I would like to buy American I guess that's impossible but at least they did stand behind their product.

I bought one of these by Accutire and it still works but the display no longer lights in red numbers as it did when I bought it.  Maybe it has an option on display color but I have no idea.  It is fine in sunlight but hard to read in my garage. It is about 2-3 years old and has worked out great.  Sounds like they have good service.
