I don't think that is the case. I think 1 unit Is 1 piece (1 cooler).

That is correct, the cooler is sold as a unit of 1, whereas the packing cubes are sold and priced as a set of 3.

Package came last week. Really nice. I got the cooler and a set of 3 bags. Thank you for the group buy. They are very high quality and work exactly as expected. They will certainly make packing easier.

Quickie review...

I have had my first trip with the bags... sorry... I have not had a chance to use the cooler yet.. It's still rather cold in Nor.Cal. 

I ordered the cooler, a set of liners and an organizer set.   All of the pieces look well made. 

The bags are rather spartan (fine by me), in that there are few pockets and such.  I had fit issues with the bags packed and the saddle bags closing... Now.. If I wiggled them in right they closed no problem; leading me to believe that either/both: I packed wider than I should have (they are soft luggage going into a rigid space), or there was a seam/strip or something that got stuck in my hinges.  Somehow I think this would be a problem with all systems such as this.  the Conie's hard-bags have a funny lip that makes it easy to catch things in. 

The organizer is a set of 3 shapes that, together, fill a saddlebag.  2 of these and the cooler work as well; such as,  drinks on ice, sandwich and sides nicely wrapped and in their own compartments...   I haven't tried them yet either, but they seem to fit well and are a great idea.

So far, I am totally stoked with the buy I got.
