PCIII (dinosaur I know) map request
« on: December 06, 2012, 04:46:56 PM »
Good day all!

I have a 2008 w/ BMC filter and V&H slip on AND FLIES OUT - fairly typical right?  I just purchased a PCIII from a  COG member and want to make sure I have the fastest map available!

Can anyone send me "THE MAP"

Thanks in advance

Cheers!

I have found a map at Dynojet - it is for flies out, stock filter and leo slip on.  I am sure this will get me a decent tune but I know someone has the map for flies out, BMC, and CSone.....right?

thx for the reply

No canned tune is going to be the"fastest". The only way that will happen is some time with a datalogger. Each bike, although they are built on the same assembly line, is going to be a little different from each other. The same goes for add on parts.

You could always try calling someplace like Fuel Moto. Chances are that they've tuned a bike running that particular combo. But they will probably want money for it.

The flow difference between slip ons is slight enough that I doubt you'll notice much of a difference by using the Leo Vince tune.

This says 2008, tag line says 2009.  If you have the '08 Silverdammit you already have the fastest, if you have the black '09 you need all the help you can get ;D
