heated grip install wiring question
« on: September 26, 2012, 06:32:08 AM »
Needed a quick bit of into and my searching abilities suck and not turning up results i am looking for.
I am in process of installing symatec heated grips. I have a wiring question. I found the two barrel styel connectors under the left panel birds nest. One is solid color and other has a stripe. Is one power and other ground?
I need to wire one of them to switch and will I then tie the ground wires from heated grips to the other connector?
Any help mucho apprecated. electrical aint my thing
Oh I have a 2008 model

Normally the "hot" wire will have a protected female connector.  Pretty sure this is the case with this connector.  I'm replying on the run or I would dig a little more for you.
