700 miles "2-up"
« on: September 10, 2012, 02:43:59 PM »
Until Teressa came along, I had never met a woman who would ride 2-up for 700 miles in a day WITHOUT b*tching

stevewfl wouldn't ask her too. And if he did she'd flip him off anyway, followed by Teressa no longer riding with him either

Just asking.  Did you really leave the shopping mall parking lot, or circle it 700 times saying, 'We can shop once we find a spot that's close...'
 ;)

Nice Pillion you got there, Steve.

There are plenty of women out there who will ride 700 miles 2-up....on a Goldwing!

Your lady must be young, athletic, and/or petite to be able to ride 700 miles on the back of a Concours.

My wife wants breaks every 60 to 90 miles, sit down meals, and places to visit as well as curvy roads and great scenery.  I will tell you that it does make for a relaxing trip and a happy wife.

I'll save the long distance, fast speeds, quick bites, and ground sleeping for when I am solo and/or out with the guys.

My wife MUST be a keeper. When we did the COG Rally in Klamath Falls,OR , we rode 2 up 650 mile per day for 3 days and the 4th day was 300 miles.
Then we went to Seattle to see her brother. Ended up doing 6000 mile in 2 weeks before we got home. I was hurtin' the last 2 days. I turned around and ask her,"How you doing?" She said,"Just fine".

hehe backseat thread

on my part, i consider myself lucky. She wants to ride on every opportunity. 0 complain, nada. Last year we started our trip with a 600 miles rides, and we went on a paste of 200-300 miles each day after for 13 days

never heard a complain and she s not that young either ;)

This year, we went on a 2500 miles short trip in 5 days. Same thing even when is was raining like hell

But each time we come across a Goldwing, the scala will come on and i ll hear " next time i m doing that, it will be on this bike"

She is a keeper
What shoe shop was that far away she wanted to ???

My misses used to ride with me 30 years ago , now I do not take her on the back as we have no one to look after the kids if something happens . I have seen this happen to a local family both parents ended up in hospital ,Government wanted to put childs in seperate foster homes because they had parents alive the kids went there.

Now how many toilet stops ???
I ride all day without a p.ss break while my friends need to stop every hour or two ,the women are just as bad if not worse.
By the way they get the sh.ts when I point it out and throw things at me .
