That TCX airboot looks pretty nice. Great video review online that really shows you the features so you know what to expect.

When I first saw them I didn't think they would be waterproof, thinking that it was flow through ventilation, but it isn't, but you get enough air against the liner to make it cooler.  You can really tell on a cold morning  ;)

SWAT 8" tactical boots by Bates with inside zipper. they have reinforced soles and are nearly waterproof. also MUCH cheaper than fancy motorcycle boots, i.e. just over $100.
can wear them all day at work, too

For Winter I wear the TCX Infinity Boot, also waterproof and extra shin protection

I have the Oxtar version of this boot - basically the same boot.  100% water-proof, proven, and comfy enough to walk in all day.  I can not say enough good about this boot for a STREET boot.

This is NOT a good off-road boot.  It's shin high, and a good street boot, but it is no off-road worth.

I've been using the Rocket Meteor's.  Waterproof, comfortable and a good price.  There was a recent write-up in the May issue of Rider magazine on them.

I have had two pairs of BMW "All Around" boots (I think that is what they are called).  I have a very wide foot with a high instep and they are the only boots I've found that fit me well and I like the looks and feel of.  I wore a pair of "Solutions" for almost a year, but they never did loosen up enough to be comfortable.  They seemed to be a nice boot and well made for the money.

I have Alpinestar ridge also. They are real comfortable, waterproof and warm. Great price and quality. I do wear them all summer but If you want boots for real hot weather those sidi champion air's might work better.

I bought a set of the black Icon Tarmac Ventilated boots (http://rideicon.com/product_details.jsp?category=3432&id=11983).  They're the best boots I've ever worn but they definately aren't waterproof.  Those boots were so damn comfortable that I bought a pair of the Icon Accelerant Waterproof boots (http://rideicon.com/product_details.jsp?category=3432&id=11984) since they are basically the same boot but waterproof.  Why have 2 pairs of boots?  My feet get really hot so the ventilated boots are awesome 90% of the time and I wear the other pair when its raining.  I DO NOT WORK FOR ICON or any of their distributors.
My parts are forged with voodoo curses and unicorn tears.

Danner USMC Rat boots.  They're spendy but oh so comfortable for riding/walking all day.  The traction is fantastic and my tootsies stay dry and happy rain or shine (Seattle-Tacoma area).  The EGA embossed on the outboard heel cap isn't bad either.  They're made in America and Danner will swap out your boots for free (shipping) until you get the right size.  The sizing is 100% Mil-Spec so order the size that you used to wear back in the day...

Two downsides:  the light olive/brown coloring is subject to marring and staining, and the laces feel flimsy but function perfectly (tied and tucked in 30 seconds).

I don't pack extra footwear, so I really needed a boot that could do anything.

Danner Acadia.  Waterproof, and almost indestructable.  Great for walking when you get there.

I've had a pair of Sidi Sympatex GTs for over 11 years now. My feet were always dry, protected me very well through 2 crashes and they are just starting to...well...stink.  I have a pair of Dainese Nighthawk gortex boots coming today to replace them.  I would recommend anything Sidi, no questions asked, i'll get back to you on the new boots.

I wear a pair of flight deck boots that I got when in the Navy. I only have to polish them once in awhile to keep water out. I have to get a new pair soon because the sole is loosing the tread.

I just bought my second pair of these boots.  I had the first pair for 5 years and the zipper broke (I was fiddling with it, my fault!).  Best boots ever for $100 bucks!  Waterproof in the WORST of rain, ALL day comfort (I wear them at work), they don't 'look' like a bike boot (so I get away with them in the office).  And best of all they zip up!  Lace them once then zip in zip out! That's enough of a commercial (I have nothing to do with this company!) they are just good boots! http://www.ridgeoutdoors.com/_product_65677/8003ALWP_Mid_Side_Zip_All_Leather_Waterproof

When these wear out, I'll likely get another pair.
