Mine broke internally right where it attaches to the front hub.I found a cheap basin wrench a few years back it works pert darn good for tightening the top nut. Just pivot the head 90* and get'r done
Boy, is it ever hard to tighten it up well at the speedometer end, at leasat for me it was.
I took the cable off at the wheel and the cable is broke about 2 inches from the wheel. Thanks for your help.Thats easy...Just pretend that you DONT need it and look around for something else. That is the only sure-fire way to find a tool. Cause if you need it you are not going to find it.
I couldnt get to the end at the gauge, hand just wouldnt fit. That's a great idea about the basin wrench. i have one somewhere just have to find it. Have not seen it in years...
