I just think the Pilot GTs spoiled me. (Damn you, Michelin!)
Exactly how I feel. I am really disappointed with my 890 rear. Walks all over the rain groves on the freeway. I think I'll try lowering the pressure like SteveJ and see how that does. Haven't had it in rain yet but I can tell you, you better be careful on wet exposed aggregate crosswalks. It slips out without any effort at all. My GT never did that. Did I say I am really disappointed with my 890 rear?I found mine to be better at an actual 40/42 psi. I made the mistake of trusting the gas station gauge when I first had the tires on. Then I used the gauge I usually use and found I was 5psi low. Getting it right made a difference.
I was hoping to see some Reviews on these tires after some of you have put at least a full riding season on them. ?I removed the 890 after about 3500 miles. I got tired of the out of round(second in a row) POS.

I mounted up a 777 in the 150 size. Much nicer tire, and it is round. It currently has about 11k miles on it, sh/be good for another 2-3k. About 2.5 to 3k was 75+mph loaded with camping gear. Rides and handles nicely, no surprises on cornering, teams up well with the 110/80 PR3 on the front.
