Nothing intolerant about trannies, although I must say I really detest the Chrysler kamikaze trannies that I had in my mini-vans in the late 80's and 90's.....POS.
Disney gives you something like 5 single speed passes with your ticket purchase and you have to register which rides you want to use them on, ahead of time. They don't cost anything and you can't buy them. That way, you can be almost assured you will at least get to ride the 5 most important-to-you rides, almost regardless of how many people are in the park. It seems a bit confusing, but it is actually pretty brilliant. I was quite impressed.
The American democratic/capitalist mindset says, "I want to pick," "I want to decide,"
You guys! I want to pick for myself and I want you to pick for yourself. It was marxtog who wanted the decisions made for him.

Now we are getting somewhere, citizens!
Snip...
As an aside, I am one of those who will break out of the single traffic line, and block the open lane well ahead of the merge point while also holding my position in the single line. Only when I'm in the cage, though.
I always applaud the guy who's willing to do it. It makes the line move so much more smoothly, which is appreciated especially these days when there is so much construction going on. I even pat myself on the back.
Don't give me any ideas. Assholier than thou... FOR THE WIN! I think I will just go back to capitalist mindset... first come, first merged. And fight for the best spot. Survival of the fastest. No more blocking for me... you guys changed my mind
