Kirby is not bitter, far from it. He learned his lesson about KiPass and now exists to praise that system whenever and wherever he can. He is the unofficial KiPass maskot. He has also spent a lot of time honing and perfecting the care and feeding of C-14s everywhere. While others were using small pins to help retain those pesky flying saddlebags on C-14s, Kirby conjured up a truly robust system that is absolutely guaranteed to retain the bags on any C-14, under any conditions including having the bike fall off a cliff. This is Kirby's system:
After I developed the by- pass system for the sticking KiPass activation switch, Kirby took it upon himself to put together a kit to install that by- pass on any C-14 in the field; he called it the 'Kirby KiPass Korrection Kit'.
Here is Kirby inspecting a custom luggage being fitted to a C-14:
Sometimes Kirby helps me troubleshoot things that are hard for me to reach or see on the C-14. He is willing to help anywhere and in any way he can although sometimes I think he has poor vision and misses things.... Here he is looking for a loose wire during a cruise control install (although he didn't see it!):
No need to feel bad for Kirby, he basks in the warm, comforting glow of KiPass.

I guess I underestimated the power of the kipass.......woe is Kirby!
