It's that time of year when it's to hot to go on long rides (just short ones up the local mtns) So I made a video today from photos from the 1st six months.
Mark, thanks for sharing those great pictures. When I lived in Lake Havasu City it was usually too hot to ride from mid May until mid September. For us to ride to the Hulalapai's was about 65 miles and to ride back in the heat was unbearable during that time of year. Sure was along 4 months.
Thanks Brent, we rode to lake havasu on memorial day (girls in bikini pics) usually would not ride there that time of year but was a very cool May here. We will ride up he Hualapais tomorrow & get a 6 month pass for 20 bucks at the state park as a day use fee is 7 bucks, looking forward to the trails in the park.(gotta watch out for those moonson storms though, they have begun)
The Channel in Lake Havasu is a must visit during Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day Holidays. Always bring a camera and leave the wife/girlfriend at home, if possible.
