HAH! Yeah, I really just need to figure out a stand alone ignition controller. Add that to the long list of projects.
Nice looking truck!
Why on earth would you want to do that, Red?Nevermind, I just read your post a bit more thoroughly...lol
Hellofor the 7th speed it is necessary to recover the pinions of the bevel torque before of ZG 1200 to mount them in the case of the ZG 1000 which it is necessary to slightly machine to pass the big pinion.@+Bernard
Steve is still active, at least on the Facebook C14 group. He still enjoys stirring the pot.
Unfortunately Steve doesn't make them any more and I'm not sure if he ever shared how to do the conversion.Last I heard he was ill and had someone else doing the carb servicing & modifications, but then their shop burned down and nobody was doing C10 stuff. Can someone who is a COG forum member check when he last posted there?
Yeah, I know it’s more than a set of carbs. Hell, I could fab a manifold and carb setup myself. Ignition control is where I’d need assistance. Not sure how to go about that.
lt would take more than a set of carbs to get it to start.
I will be surprised if you find anyone that has done that!
Has anyone out there converted a C14 engine to carb? I have a "spare" engine from my wrecked bike that we're talking about putting in a "shop golf cart" for when we're at the track.
