Ioseb Besarionis Dze Jugashvili.
This is a photo of him taken in 1894, when he was 16 years of age, somewhere near the time he entered a Greek Orthodox priesthood school. He did well at the seminary but failed his final exams, and of course had to abandon his hopes to become a priest. Fortunately though, he found another calling in nationalism and politics and after changing his name and a few rocky, lean years, actually rose to a very high position in a neighboring country.
Oh yeah, along the way he changed his name to 'Steel'. But of course steel in Russian, which is Stalin. Joseph Stalin specifically.
