Yeah, I just run the nuts down tight enough to stop the whole ass'y from falling out or leaking air and call it good. No need to get too snug either because they are up against a rubber sealing ring and it will just crush and deform out of the way.

I’ve just replaced the batteries in my TPMSs and am ready to reinstall them in the wheels. The manual calls for 40 in lbs of torque for the TPMS bolts. How crucial is this torque? Can I just snug them down? Thanks.
