It was to work and back. I ran it on reserve the whole way to drain the tank out as much as possible. I need it light so I can take it apart.
The shipyard started holiday curtailment, and I have shoulder surgery on the 29th, so this is it. Last ride until May/June when I get cleared by the doc.
This is the first time since I started riding that I've not ridden through the winter. But I can't sleep my shoulder is so bad.
The good news: I finally have time to send my carbs and cams to Florida to get Sissified. I also need to rezipper my leather jacket and have repairs done on both my leather pants. And I sent my boots off to Spokane to get refurbed. If I get bored enough I may attempt to repair the many cracked/scratched/gouged pieces of plastic on the bike. If I get really really bored, I may attempt to get it 1/10th as clean as bergman's. We'll see.
I am going to have to get a battery tender. So weird. I have fresh oil in it. What else to you do to a hibernating bike?
Wish me luck!
