It's really your overall attitude to risk. 'Risk averse' means you drive a car instead of a motorcycle, and snowshoe instead of downhill skiing.
I'm slightly north of 'risk neutral' and get into motorcycling, skiing, bicycling, but not bungee jumping or skydiving. My wife shares some of these attitudes, with bicycling and skiing, but unfortunately not motorcycling. But because she has some of the same risk attitude, there's tolerance for motorcycling.
