Product packaging that is impossible to get in to
BTW I find this becomes more difficult the older I get
People who pull into a busy gas station and act like they've never filled the car/bike before. Fumble around looking for the credit card, stare at the pump for awhile. Slowly go through the menus. etc. I'm usually buttoning up and leaving before some of these morons have a gallon into the vehicle.
Tele-sales people phoning you randomly to try and sell all types of sh 1 t to you, and expect you to be friendly and understanding when you say "no thanks", but they keep pushing the envelope.
I fixed that by buying a portable phone system that has the ability to block up to 250 calls. I block any number that I don't recognize or they don't leave a message.
Or people that pay with cash so they park the car at the pump, walk in and pay,

Years ago I started simply hanging up on them, cold turkey, middle of the sentence. Felt a lil' bad for a while at first, but now I've been doing it for so many years I don't even give it a 2nd thought. Hang up and continue on with my day. I just realized that I don't care to extend for one moment longer a conversation with somebody who's just trying to sell me something I didn't ask for and don't need or want. Pretty sure most of the calls are placed by computers, and when it detects that you've answered the call is transferred to one of their salespeople. Yeah, no problem whatsoever hanging up on that situation.
I've always found that if you look at the fuel gauge it tells you which side the filler is on. I wonder why we don't have that on bikes?

I always interrupt them and say "please remove this number from all your lists... bye" and hang up.
Such calls really should be illegal (and criminal, not civil), especially the robot dialers.
Agree 100%
I've take to replying to their announcement of who they are with the following.
"This is a private government number. This call is being recorded. Please state for the record your name date of birth and employer details"
Normally have them hang up
If I don't recognize the number I don't answer the phone.
Simple as that. If it's an important call they'll leave a message.
I don't have caller ID at home
I do follow that procedure with my cell phone, though.
